Rissa and Ben love exploring. Rissa and Ben live in inner-city Wellington and get away whenever they can. So much so that they've just bought a camper (currently in renovation stage!) for overnight jaunts further afield. Rissa works in biosecurity, protecting our waterways from introduced pests and diseases. Ben is an IT computer software developer extraordinaire.
They're now introducing their bubbly 6 month old baby Jasper to the great outdoors. I was lucky enough to be invited along for a walk and lunch.
We parked at Bucks Road Campsite and walked the short forested path to Tauherenikau River. Tararua Forest Park has so many epic day adventures to choose from, in the stunning Wairarapa region.
They wanted to document this time in their life as a family, doing the things they do every weekend: getting out in nature.
