Shannon and Stephen like to do everything all at once. They're planning their wedding, run a successful bespoke joinery business in Masterton (Dittmer Joinery) and have a gorgeous young son. They managed to take some time to relax at Mt Holdsworth just the two of them, and have some engagement photos taken.
Holdsworth in the Tararua Ranges, Wairarapa is one of my favourite places to photograph couples. There's so much natural variety within a 10 minute walk of the car park. Shannon, Stephen and I explored the river, walked across the bridge and through the bush. Then there's what's up the mountain: the stunning views from Rocky Lookout and the possibility of snow there or further up. My ultimate dream would be to photograph a wedding in the snow on the mountain!
Due to Covid and the business of life in general, Shannon and Stephen haven't set a date for their wedding. Hopefully it will be soon so they can call each other husband and wife.
