The Hunter family are a busy bunch!

With four children across multiple schools, various extra-curricular sporting activities and work that spans various cities, it's all go!

Kristy and Josh were super excited to have family photos created. We worked together to find a date that suited mum, dad and the four children's hectic schedule; and a location convenient to the family. Kristy chose Fensham Reserve, Carterton in the Wairarapa.

It was lovely to do a family photo session during winter. There's something cosy about being all rugged up in the great outdoors. Just right for lots of family hugs!

We enjoyed exploring the walking paths in Fensham Reserve. I got the kids to play the light seeker game. They took great delight in finding patches of sunshine that peeked through the dense forest canopy. There were some massive matai and rimu trees hundreds of years old that just had to be explored!

I felt privileged to witness and document the natural connections, banter and love between the siblings. There were beautiful bonds between sisters Jorja and Makenzie; and oldest brother Jack looked out for youngest Makenzie. Taylin enjoyed telling me about his long distance running (amazing!). We walked up quite a steep and muddy track to reach a golden light filled bend with a glorious view. There were piggybacks to help little legs and words of encouragement for everyone.

The family photos with the rugged Tararua Ranges in the background are relaxed and natural.
