Festival of family: Queen Elizabeth Park family photos, Masterton Wairarapa

"Great relaxing REAL photos." -Shelley, September 2020

"There will be 3 families (us, sis and brother in law and the in laws). It's my mother in laws mothers day prezzie. Just a tad over due!" We had a fun-filled afternoon capturing Shelley and her extended family portraits.

Shelley suggested Queen Elizabeth Park in Masterton as the location for their outdoor family photos, as it was a special place for her in laws growing up.

Her biggest fear was "getting all the family together". Congratulations Shelley: everyone including siblings, parents and four children were all in the same place at the same time! Victory!

We met by the public toilets (everyone knows where they are!) and wandered in the rose garden. The kids played with their ball for a bit in the gorgeous golden light. We then took some family group shots on the grass before heading over the bridge. The kids wanted to climb everything including a picnic table, a tree and circular sculpture! It was super sweet: wee Abigail saw her big cousins Joe and Alex climbing and wanted up too. Walking back over the bridge and across the lawn to the cars brought on a bought of piggy back rides.

Shelley said of her family photo experience: "amazing, she is great, so understanding and makes it fun and enjoyable and relaxing". Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm so pleased you guys had as much fun as I did!
